&lt;p&gt;I enjoy TextSlide, because it allows me to use my iPhone SMS app to chat with strangers. It’s this sort of accessibility that made Twitter huge in the first place.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;TextSlide inspired me to make my own “chat with strangers” app. It works over Google Talk (if you have Gmail, you already have Google Talk), so you can use it from your favorite IM client (iChat, Gmail, etc), even from your mobile phone.&lt;/p&gt;
